11 <br />Document Number: 909 R 5003 <br />Rev: 13 Date: 6/10/13 <br />EMERGENCY RESPONSE PROCEDURES <br />In those emergencies where only a portion of the facility needs to evacuated, the following <br />procedures will be followed: <br />• The supervisor will notify the security officer who will inform plant management <br />and make the necessary requests for emergency response personnel. If <br />necessary, the security officer may by using the facility's communication system, <br />notify employees in other areas of the plant of the need to evacuate. The <br />security officer may indicate if the secondary assembly areas must be used. <br />• Supervisors and lead personnel will make sure that the evacuation alarms are <br />activated, and will be responsible for overseeing the orderly movement of <br />employees and/or contractors to designated assembly areas and the emergency <br />shut down of equipment. <br />• Supervisors will be responsible for taking head counts to determine that all <br />employees and/or contractors are accounted for and will relay that information to <br />the human resource department or security officer (during off hours). <br />• Maintenance members will secure necessary utilities and assist emergency <br />response personnel if needed. <br />• The facility will implement an incident command system and cooperate with <br />emergency response personnel. <br />EVACUATION ASSEMBLY AREAS <br />Due to the size and possible types of emergencies, several evacuation assembly areas <br />have been established. Employees and/or contractors are to use the closest and safest <br />exit to leave the facility, and then reassemble at the designated assembly areas. <br />Primary Assembly Areas <br />• Guard Shack Area ( Security Office), All employees and/or contractors except <br />those in the tank area will report to this area <br />H:\profile\My Documents\500 E. louise ave (CIA LOF)\9-25-13\909R5003 Emergency Response Procedures.doc <br />Page 10 of 67 <br />Paper Copies are Not Controlled unless stamped in RED "Controlled Document".
