If
necessary, the security officer may by using the facility's communication system,
notify employees in other areas of the plant of the need to evacuate. The
security officer may indicate if the secondary assembly areas must be used.
• Supervisors and lead personnel will make sure that the evacuation alarms are
activated, and will be responsible for overseeing the orderly movement of
employees and/or contractors to designated assembly areas and the emergency
shut down of equipment.
• Supervisors will be responsible for taking head counts to determine that all
employees and/or contractors are accounted for and will relay that information to
the human resource department or security officer (during off hours).
• Maintenance members will secure necessary utilities and assist emergency
response personnel if needed.
• The facility will implement an incident command system and cooperate with
emergency response personnel.
EVACUATION ASSEMBLY AREAS
Due to the size and possible types of emergencies, several evacuation assembly areas
have been established. Employees and/or contractors are to use the closest and safest
exit to leave the facility, and then reassemble at the designated assembly areas.
Primary Assembly Areas
• Guard Shack Area ( Security Office), All employees and/or contractors except
those in the tank area will report to this area
H:\profile\My Documents\500 E. louise ave (CIA LOF)\9-25-13\909R5003 Emergency Response Procedures.doc
Page 10 of 67
Paper Copies are Not Controlled unless stamped in RED "Controlled Document".
