The waste is located immediately north of the glass dumping pit and south of the levee. <br /> The agricultural waste includes grape pumice and wood shavings. Soil and concrete blocks are also stored in the same <br /> area. <br /> Use of this site for solid waste disposal requires a solid waste facility permit from the San Joaquin County Environmental <br /> Health Department(EBD). Stockpiling of waste for greater than six months is considered disposal of the waste. <br /> Use of this site for storage of compostable materials which reach 122°F also requires a solid waste facility permit from <br /> the EHD. A pile of agricultural waste which heats up to 122°F or above is considered compost. Compostable materials <br /> must be processed within seven days of being received at the site. <br /> Either move the waste to a permitted landfill for disposal or obtain a solid waste permit from EHD.
