The statistical analysis shows an 80% confidence level of 1 _77 to 39.83 ppm, The
California regulatory limit (TTLC) for lead is 1000 ppm. Based on a two -tailed normal
distribution, it is likely that total concentration of lead in the fill areas does not exceed the TTLC.
The average STLC for lead is 3 m. The statistical analysis shows an 80% confidence level
of —4.45 to 10 57 ppm. The California regulatory limit STLC for lead concentration is 5 ppm.
Based on a two -tailed normal distribution, it is likely that the .total soluble lead concentration in
the fill areas does exceed the STLC. ^-
The average total arsenic concentration is 30 0 0 ppm. The statistical analysis shows an 80%
confidence level of -19132.35 to 79,132.35 ppm. The California regulatory limit (TTLC) for
arsenic is 500 m. Based on a two -tailed normal distribution, the total concentration of arsenic
in the fill area does exceed the TTLC. The sample, T-65.3.5 was taken at a depth of 3.5 feet
below ground surface in Trench T-65. Sample T-65-1.5 was taken at 1.5 feet below ground
surface and analytical results of this sample in Table 3, above, indicates 0 ppm of arsenic. It is
like thaf the resence o icated in samle T-65-3.5 is an a omal and therefore its
presence may be in an isolated area of the waste.
n
