8/30/62 <br /> of California to perform the duties of a public weighmaster at <br /> the Site relative to the weight of the waste material delivered <br /> to the Site. Said scale or scales shall be regularly checked <br /> and-certified by the County Sealer of Weights and Measures. <br /> Contractor shall furnish and provide certified weight <br /> slips. The information on said slips shall include but is not <br /> limited to the following; date and time of delivery of waste <br /> material, approved and assigned vehicle number, "and gross weight. <br /> All weight slips shall be initialed by the driver of <br /> the vehicle making the delivery. A copy thereof shall be given <br /> to the driver and a copy submitted to the City with the monthly <br /> billing. <br /> All refuse and waste material delivered to the Site <br /> by members of the public shall be charged and accounted for on <br /> a per cubic yard basis . <br /> Contractor agrees to furnish and provide a box with <br /> dimension of one (1) cubic yard to be used for comparison. <br /> In the event of disputes regarding the quantity of the load <br /> of material or price charged by Contractor, Contractor shall <br /> take a photograph of said load of material and shall take the <br /> measurement of the vehicle and submit same to the Superintendent <br /> of Streets for his decision. The decision of said Superintendent <br /> shall be final. <br /> Contractor shall issue to each member of the public <br /> disposing of waste material at Site, one copy of a numbered re- <br /> ceipt setting forth the amount charged and received. One (1) <br /> copy of said receipt shall be submitted to the City with Con- <br /> tractor's <br /> on- <br /> tractors monthly payment. Payments shall be made by Contractor <br /> to City not later than the tenth of each month following the month <br /> in which the money is collected. <br /> -13- <br />
