No soil
cuttings will be generated during the Geo-Probe drilling process. In the event that
samples are submitted for laboratory analysis, they will be submitted to a State Certified
analytical laboratory and tested such chemicals as may be suggested by boring log
information.
Groundwater Sampling
Insofar as the primary purpose of the investigation is to define the lateral and vertical
extent of the investigation, there are no plans to collect groundwater samples. If
however, field conditions warrant, such samples may possibly be collected for analysis.
The field condition could include unusual odors or volatile vapors detected in the
uppermost saturated zone.
2.3 Laboratory Analysis
The soil sampled selected for laboratory analysis will be transported to a State certified
analytic laboratory under chain-of-custody protocol. The analysis will include at a
minimum the following analyses.
• CAM 17 Hazardous metals using EPA method 7000 series,
• Total Extractable Petroleum Hydrocarbons (TEPH)by EPA method 8015m,
• Volatile organic chemicals using EPA method 8260b,
• Semi-volatile organic chemicals using EPA method 8270.
2.4 Waste Disposal
The Geo-Probe soil boring process is direct push method. As such,no solid waste will be
generated.
2937 Veneman Ave.,#B240 Geo-Phase Environmental Inc. Phone(209)569-0293
Modesto,CA 95356 Fax(209)569-0295
