Under this Lease, PLES will develop a landfill gas extraction
system and electrical generation facility. The electricity will be sold to
PG&E.
In the process of extracting the landfill gas, the temperature of the gas is
naturally lowered. This results in a small amount of gas condensate. Most of
this condensate drops out in the landfill gas collection system and remains
in the landfill. However, some condensate does collect in the last few
hundred feet of collection system piping and this condensate ends up at the
plant. The enclosed permit application is for the return of the condensate
that collects at the plant.
We are requesting this Permit pursuant to California Administrative Code
Title 23, Chapter 3, Subchapter 15, Article 1, Article 2511, Section E.
Enclosed with our application is our check for $500.00 to cover the permit
fee. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call on us.
Very truly yours,
P
auresR.
R. ennelly
/ice President
V 9
Project Development
JRK:jrs
Attachment
