The chain•of-custody records, initiated at the time of sampling, will contain the <br /> following information: well or boring number, date of sampling, and name of sam- <br /> pler. The record sheet will be signed by the sampler when transferring posses- <br /> sion of the samples. Custody transfer will be recorded for each individual sample; <br /> for example, if samples are split and sent to the multiple laboratories, a record <br /> sheet will accompany each sample. The number of custodians in the chain of <br /> possession will be kept to a minimum.
