Rolfe October 25, 1991
Pacific Energy Page 2
Fable 1 outlines the toxicity chaxacteristic substances regulated by the Federal and State
agencies as well as the hazardous levels for each substance. As illustrated by the shaded
areas, not all of the substances listed are regulated by both the Federal and State agencies.
Table 1 also summarizes the Plant Condensate results for the purposes of comparison. For
all substances that were not detected, the results are reported as "ND" followed by the
detection limit. If no result was available for a regulated substance, an "NR" is reported,
Finally, for any regulated substance present at a reportable quantity the concentration is
reported.
As outlined in Table 1, the results reported for the Plant Condensate sample analysis show
that the concentrations for no regulated substance exceeds Federal or State regulatory levels
for toxicity characteristics. Table 2 presents chemical substances and parameters found in
the condensate sample which are=regulated by the Toxicity Characteristic Rule or CCR
Title 22 Section 66699 for your reference.
Should Pacific Energy have any questions regarding this summary, please do not hesitate to
contact either myself or Paul Sundberg at (209) 476.1635.
Sincerely,
ROY F.
