t A 0
RMTA••.
Ed Padilla
Senior Environmental Health Specialis)
San Joaquin Local Health District
445 N. San Joaquin Street
Stockton, CA 95201
11
iii11-m
SEP u 1994
EM/1"QNIMENTAL OL'ALTH
PERMIT/SERVICES
The location of the disposal area will be between stations 42+00 and 44+00 as
shown on the topographic base map. The amount of waste to be received
based on a projected scale volume of waste of 44,000 tons for the 1994-95
seasonal duration of 4 months. The waste fill volumes have been compiled by
using 15 foot lift above existing grades with side slopes of 3:1 and a 3% grade
slope. If sufficient space is not available for the duration period, we have an
alternate winter pad located at station 33+00 and 36+00 and we can use the
.,ame access road.
The pad is made up of
a concrete and
asphalt chip base
approximately 4 feet
thick with a 6" asphalt
top layer. The
dimensions of the
pad are 8OX120 feet
and it provides sufficient
maneuverability
for vehicle travel
and unloading
operations. The access
road is asphalt
and 20 feet wide.
It provides vehicles
access to and from the
winter pad.
We have an intermediate grading plan which was submitted and approved on
09/21/90 by the State Water Quality Control Board. With the 3% grade slope
and the 3:1 side slopes, the storm water will drain off the top of the landfill inVk,
,2 perimeter drainage ditch.
