The Austin Road Landfill is located on Austin Road, seven miles <br /> southeast of the City of Stockton in Section 3, T1-S, R7E, MB & B. The <br /> City of Stockton is the owner of the facility and the legal operator. The <br /> contract operator is Gambi Enterprises, Inc. <br /> B. The Austin Road landfill is located on 180 acres and is a Class III landfill. <br /> See appendix A. The facility is permitted for 180 acres. 135 acres <br /> north of the Little Johns Creek is currently being utilized. The 45 acre <br /> area south of the Little John Creek may be utilized as a landfill area in <br /> the future. Landfilling of this area would require a permit revision. <br /> C. The facility has a scale, scale house, office trailer, and landfill gas <br /> collection system and power plant operated by Pacific Lighting Energy <br /> Systems Inc. <br /> D. The landfill operation is the area method.
