Goggles will be worn during <br /> steam cleaning operations. If required, the remaining personal <br /> protective equipment shall be put on before entering the immediate <br /> work area. The sleeves of the coveralls shall be outside of the <br /> cuffs of the gloves to facilitate removal of clothing. If at any <br /> time protective clothing (coverall, boots or gloves) becomes torn, <br /> wet, or excessively soiled, they will be replaced immediately. <br /> No eating, drinking or smoking will be allowed in the vicinity of <br /> the drilling operations. The project geologist will designate a <br /> separate area on-site for eating and drinking. Smoking will not be <br /> allowed at the facility except in designated areas. No contact <br /> lenses will be worn by field personnel. <br /> B-3 cleanup/Decontamination Procedures: At the end of the <br /> workday, the following procedures will be used to allow for the <br /> safe removal and decontamination of personal protective equipment <br /> that may have been required. <br /> • Boots and gloves will be washed with a Alconoxs detergent and <br /> tap water, then rinsed before removal. <br /> • Boot covers and coveralls will be removed and coveralls placed <br /> in a plastic bag for appropriate disposal . <br /> • Gloves will then be removed and placed in the plastic bag; <br /> hands will be washed with soap and water. <br /> • Spent protective clothing will be stored on-site in 55-gallon <br /> drums and properly disposed of after receipt of laboratory <br /> analyses . <br /> B-4 Person Responsible for Health and Safety at Site: Twining's <br /> project geologist will be the designated site safety officer. His <br /> responsibilities will include implementation of the site safety <br /> work plan for Twining personnel involved with the field operations . <br />
