CRITERIA. Sanitary landfills will be considered as an incompatible <br /> use if located within areas established for the airport through the <br /> application of the following criteria: <br /> a. Landfills located within 10,000 feet of any runway used or planned <br /> to be used by turbojet aircraft. <br /> ap <br /> b. Landfills located within 5,000 <br /> feet of any runway used only by <br /> Piston type aircraft. <br /> c. Landfills outside of the above perimeters but within the conical <br /> surfaces described by FAR Part 77 and applied to an airport will <br /> be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. <br /> d. Any landfill located such that it places the runways and/or <br /> approach and departure patterns of an airport between bird <br /> feeding, water, or roosting areas. <br /> WILLIAM V.
