Austin Road Landfill ExInfinsion Project <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT MITIGATION MEASURE LEVEL OF <br /> SIGNIFICANCE <br /> AFTER <br /> MITIGATION <br /> controls might include wind screens near <br /> the unloading areas or the use of dust <br /> suppressants. <br /> (e)If the above engineering controls <br /> cannot reduce employee dust exposure <br /> below an acceptable level as determined by <br /> the LEA,site personnel at risk shall be <br /> supplied with gloves,coveralls,eye <br /> protection, and respirators. <br /> (f)Wastes must not leave the landfill site <br /> on workers clothing. This EIR suggests <br /> the following measures: <br /> 1. working clothes should be left behind <br /> at the landfill and cleaned by the <br /> operator; <br /> 2. changing areas should be provided at <br /> the project site so that workers do not <br /> carry material off-site; and <br /> 3. dust accumulated on non-washable <br /> items should be removed by <br /> vacuuming,not by brushing or <br /> blowing. <br /> (g)Workers shall not be allowed to eat <br /> near the active landfill. <br /> L.2.
