I. Accordingly,an will need to be prep ared for the project. This NZIRP will be considered by the City of Stockton Department of Community Development Planning Division in conjunction with project review and will be included as a condition of project approval. ER ORGANIZATION This Draft EIR is the first part of a two-volume set that will comprise the Final EIR for the project. Volume I contains the Draft EIR and Technical Appendices;Volume 2 will include the comments received during the public review period and responses to those comments. Technical reports and other documents incorporated by reference into the EIR will be available for public review at the City of Stockton Department of Community Development Planning Division in the City of Stockton. This Draft EIR is organized into the following sections: &MM= The Summary chapter summarizes the project description,the environmental impacts that would result from project implementation,mitigation measures suggested to reduce or eliminate impacts,and alternatives to the project. Mier I.Introduction Chapter I provides an introduction and overview that describes the project and discusses the need for the project. It also discusses the intended use of the EIR,summarizes the EIR review and certification process,and sets forth some of the assumptions critical to the environmental analysis. Shapt�_r II Proiect Description Chapter H discusses the project sponsor's objectives,the project location,project characteristics, project schedule,and other agencies that will use this EIR. l I.7
