INTRODUCTION <br />This Report of Disposal Site Information describes the design and operation of the ForwardA4&t+n-Read Landfill Horizontal and Vertical Landfill Expansion <br />(LF -2 and LF -3) ,(formerly Austin Road Landfill Expansion) which will be operated under permits issued to Forward, Inc.the Gity Of StGGktGR. Ast644Day-to- <br />day operation of the site will be conducted by Forward, Inc. , the Gity. The proposed pFGjeGt Will -he a Gla r. II! faaity <br />The proposed project is located on four complete parcels and a portion of a fifth parcel. Forward. Inc.-Tae-CitysWrr owns three of the parcels, the existing <br />landfill site (LF -1) of approximately 138 acres, an existing 45 -acre borrow site located in the Phase I and II areas, and the 126 -acre proposed borrow site <br />to the north of the existing landfill. <br />Forward, Inc. also wns two additional properties: an 85 -acre parcel currently referred to as the Brocchini property (APN 201-060- <br />02), proposed location for Phases III and IV; and an 11 -acre portion of the California Youth Authority (CYA) parcel located in the northwest corner of the <br />proposed site which will be adjacent to the proposed future soil borrow area. <br />I.B. SITE LOCATION <br />14 CCR 18222(d) <br />The Forward Atw in Read Landfill (formerly Austin Road <br />See Drawing G-2, <br />Landfill)is located at Latitude 370 52'94" and Longitude 1210 <br />Appendix B <br />52' 59" in Section 3, Township 1 South, Range 7 East, <br />M.D.B.&M. The borrow area, just north of the existing landfill, <br />is in Section 34, Township 1 North, Range 7 East, M.D.B.&M. <br />The landfill expansion areas and borrow area will be under <br />the jurisdiction of San Joaquin Countythe-G4 -e#- to .- <br />I.C. Surround Land Use <br />Present Land Use: <br />The existing landfill is within the jurisdiction of San Joaquin <br />Drawing G-2, <br />14 CCR 18222(f) <br />Countytk�e-Oity-e�4 and is zoned General Agriculture <br />Appendix B <br />Zoning: 14 CCR 18222(p) <br />40 -acre minimum (AG -4 P, iblin I_ands 1=). All the <br />proposed expansion areas are within San Joaquin Countythe <br />Oi s6.4— and are zoned AG -40R-- (General Agriculture <br />40 -acre minimum). The land to the north and the land to the <br />
