RDSI SECTION 7
REG. CITATION
RESPONSE
REFERENCE
I.D.1.d. Hazardous Wastes
14 CCR 18222(b)
The landfill does not accept hazardous wastes.
Sec. 2.1.5.1, Page 2-
3
I.D.1.e. Other Wastes Requiring
14 CCR 18222(b)
The landfill accepts sterilized infectious wastes which have
Appendix I, FDSR
Special Handling
been secured in appropriately labeled red plastic bags. These
Sec. 2.1.5.2, Page 2 -
bags are immediately covered with either refuse or dirt.
4
I.D.2. Waste Volumes
14 CCR 18222(b)
Current daily average waste flow is approximately 500 tons
Appendix C, Revised
per day. The peak daily waste flow is 1,200 tons per day.
Site Life Estimate
The amount of sterilized infectious waste that is received at
the landfill is estimated to be less than 100 tons per year.
Future waste flow projections are based on approximately
1.5% population growth rate and full implementation of
reduction and recycling goals in compliance with AB 939.
Source for the population projections is the 1990 City General
Plan. Waste reduction data source is from the 1992 Source
Reduction and Recycling Element. Appendix C contains a
letter report for the site life estimate for phased expansion of
the proposed facility.
I.E. TYPES AND NUMBER OF VEHICLES ANTICIPATED TO ENTER THE FACILITY
14 CCR 17628
The full range of vehicle type, from two -axle vehicles through
Appendix H, DEIR
five -axle trucks, use the landfill. Approximately 100 trucks and
Sec. III.D, Pages
eight passenger vehicles access the existing landfill on a daily
III.D.1-111.D.11
basis. Vehicle levels are not anticipated to change
appreciably for the expanded facility.
The level of service is projected to range from LOS A to LOS
D, which is the minimum acceptable for the City of Stockton,
during the a.m. peak -hour with or without the landfill
expansion.
I.F.
