Laboratory Control Spike. A Laboratory Control Spike (LCS) is a <br /> sample which is spiked with known analyte concentrations, and analyzed <br /> at approximately 10% of the sample load in order to establish method- <br /> specific control limits. The LCS results associated with your samples are <br /> on the attached Laboratory Control Spike and Laboratory Control Spike <br /> Duplicate Analysis Report. <br /> D. Matrix Spike Results. A Matrix Spike is a sample which is spiked with <br /> known analyte concentrations, and analyzed at approximately 10% of the <br /> sample load in order to establish method-specific control limits.
