Groundwater samples were analyzed for the following quarterly monitoring and field parameters as
specified in WDR Order No. 94-258:
• Temperature
• Electrical conductivity
• pH
• Turbidity
• Total dissolved solids (TDS)
• Chloride
• Sulfate
• Nitrate-nitrogen
• Volatile organic compounds(VOCs)
Groundwater samples are to be analyzed every 5 years for the following COCs:
• Total organic carbon
• Carbonate
• Bicarbonate
• Total Alkalinity
• Semi volatile organic compounds
• Organochlorine Pesticides, PCB's
• Chlorophenexy herbicides
• Metals
• Cyanide
• Sulfide
Surface Water
Surface water samples are to be collected after the first storm of the rainy season that produces
significant flow and quarterly thereafter when water is present from monitoring point S-1 (upstream)
and monitoring point S-2 (downstream)of the landfill; surface water sampling locations are shown on
' Figure 3. First storm samples were taken on February 9, 1999. During the second quarter monitoring
event no water was present for sampling.
Surface water samples are to be analyzed for the following quarterly monitoring and field parameters:
• Temperature
• Electrical conductivity
pH
' • Turbidity
• Total suspended solids
' TDS
• Chloride
• Sulfate
' • Nitrate-nitrogen
5
