Wood Bros continued to weld the 4" <br />perforated LCRS pipe on the floor of Module 1. <br />D&E unloaded 1 load of Bentofix NWL35 totaling approximately 37,224ft2. D&E prior to installation of <br />liner materials smooth drum rolled the subgrade. D&E continued installation of GCL rolls with a minimum <br />of 35lbs peel and 60mi1 double textured liner. D&E continued to deploy on the eastern slope of Module 1. <br />D&E installed a total of 28 panels of GCL totaling approximately 45,015ft2 and 4 panels of geomembrane <br />Is <br />totaling approximately 44,572ft2 all panels were overlapped and seamed per specifications. D&E performed <br />air tests on some seams. D&E airtested successfully several seams. D&E performed repairs CQA marked <br />during walk through on 9-8-03. D&E placed sandbags as ballast on the liner edges prior to leaving the site. <br />Vector Engineering, Inc. CQA observed grading and pulled a construction sample for testing on the LCRS <br />drainage aggregate imported today. CQA performed 4 #200 washes on the drainage aggregate. CQA <br />observed and logged subgrade acceptance, panel deployment, seaming, repairs and air tests performed on the <br />liner materials. CQA marked destructive samples on the liner material placed. CQA set-up 2 Plasticity <br />Indexes and sieve analysis tests on the proposed operations material. <br />Vector discussed with Wood bros the liner and V ditches need to be cleaned of all soils prior to placement of any drainage aggregate in the <br />middle section of Module 1.
