Our objective was to incorporate the structure of <br /> the Joint Technical Document for the North County Recycling Center and Sanitary Landfill,as well as <br /> comments and guidance received in your department's review of that document. We appreciate your <br /> patience. <br /> This document includes a revision of the closure and postclosure maintenance cost,reflecting the use of <br /> evapotransporative cover as tentatively approved by the Regional Water Quality Control Board. This <br /> document also contains references to future revisions we are contemplating, such as the use of Alternate <br /> Daily Cover(ADC). We understand that our referring to these in the JTD is not a request for revisions, <br /> and of course,that approval of the JTD as complete would not be approval of those revisions. <br /> We hope you find this document acceptable.
