I. <br /> INTRODUCTION <br /> The hazardous waste exclusion program described herein was developed for the Lovelace <br /> Materials Recovery Facility and Transfer Station, in San Joaquin County, California,which <br /> operates under Solid Waste Facilities Permit#39-AA-008,issued by the San Joaquin Local <br /> Health District. Under this Permit the site is prohibited from accepting hazardous waste or <br /> liquids. <br /> This program is designed to control disposal of significant amounts of prohibited waste at the <br /> site and to provide for proper removal and disposal of such waste if detected under the program. <br /> It includes a load checking program, additional exclusion procedures, and procedures for <br /> handling Identified Hazardous Waste. <br /> 3 <br />
