Leachate System Testing
Testing the leachate system consists of monitoring the pumping rate of each sump pump.
Leachate pumps that are operating at the rate consistent with past performance are considered to
be operating normally. The in-line falters at the pump intakes are replaced every one to two
years when a diminished flow is observed. Flow rate is calculated by the operator by observing
the flow meter. Exposed leachate pipes are inspected for damage/disturbance once a month.
HISTORICAL TIME SERIES PLOTS
Historical Time Series Plots are presented in Appendix F. Note that constituents not detected are
plotted at a value of half their respective detection limits. Outliers were included in the plots as
directed by RWQCB staff.
MONITORING ANALYTICAL DATA
Historical groundwater and surface water monitoring data is contained on the attached diskette.
The diskette contains Excel files and Sanitas compatible text files in tab-delimited format. The
text files can be used for statistical analyses.
North County RCSL 13 Public Works/Solid Waste
1st Semester 2006 Groundwater Monitoring County of San Joaquin—July 31,2006
