No general parameter tolerance
limits were exceeded in any of the wells this quarter.
We continue to see an increasing trend for electrical conductivity at the upgradient well
(MW-1). This indicates a change of background water quality, which has been noted in
past monitoring reports. We also note a change in the direction of groundwater flow,
with groundwater flow apparently northwest to southeast. No activity at our site could
cause this change.
Our statistical analysis software (Sanitas) identifies an increasing trend for Chlorides
and turbidity at the impacted well MW-2 this quarter, whereas last quarter the software
identified a decreasing trend in Chlorides and no trend in turbidity. This demonstrates
the very slight "trends" that the analysis software identifies.
Only two VOCs were reported in MW-2 this quarter, both at concentrations less than 2
ppb. Three VOCs have been reported for the past two years. Perhaps this indicates a
slow improvement due to our remediation. No VOCs were reported in the other wells.
No parameters were found in any of the Quality Control Blanks this quarter.
Progress of corrective action against VOC impact at MW-2 is included in the first and
third quarterly reports, and therefore is not included this quarter.
