The site is located in eastern San Joaquin County on Waverly <br />Road approximately one mile south of Shelton Road. The area available for development <br />encompasses approximately 800 acres, however, our study concentrated on an approximate 50 <br />acre parcel presently in use near the middle of the site. The landfill has been operated by <br />Foothill, Inc . , for the past 20 years. The approximate location of the site is shown on the <br />vicinity map, Plate 1. <br />
