(LLSI) <br />conducted a geomembrane leak location bare liner survey for the Foothill Sanitary Landfill Area 2A <br />near Stockton, California. Area 2A was lined, from the bottom up, with a prepared foundation layer, <br />gcl, and a 60 -mil HDPE double textured geomembrane during the survey. The landfill cell has an <br />approximate area of 15.1 acres with a floor area of approximately 11 acres. After completion of the <br />bare liner survey, a 12 -inch thick layer of granular drainage material, an 8 -ounce geotextile, and a <br />24 -inch thick operations soil layer were installed over the bare geomembrane. <br />On September 9 through 11, 2015, John Ortiz and James Haynes of LLSI conducted a <br />geomembrane leak location survey on top of the operations soil layer. Approximately 10 acres of <br />the soil -covered floor area was surveyed during the second mobilization. The sump and north toe <br />of slope were not covered with the operations soil layer and could not be surveyed on the second <br />mobilization. <br />On September 15 and 16, 2015, James Haynes of LLSI completed the soil survey of Area 2A. <br />Table I lists the survey times and climatic conditions during the surveys.
