II. HARNEY LANE SANITARY LANDFILL <br /> A. general Information: <br /> This facility is located on Harney Lane, between Tully and <br /> Jack Tone Roads, about 9 miles east of the City of Lodi. It <br /> is owned and operated as a Class III sanitary landfill by San <br /> Joaquin County utilizing Department of Public Works, Solid <br /> Waste Division staff. In October of 1991 Harney Lane SL <br /> reached capacity and was closed. The NCRCSL, located half a <br /> mile to the east on Harney Lane, replaces the Harney Lane SL <br /> and will serve the northern part of San Joaquin County. <br /> The Harney Lane site was open from 7: 00 a.m. to 5: 00 p.m <br /> daily and served the general public as well as the franchised <br /> collectors for the City of Lodi, County Refuse Service Area B, <br /> and other County Licensed Collectors in the North County Area <br /> (Figure 1) . Approximately 2, 024 tons of municipal, commercial, <br /> and industrial wastes were delivered weekly to the landfill <br /> through September, 1991. <br /> B. 1991 Waste Quantities (see also appendices A through Y) : <br /> To present a true picture of waste disposal in the north part <br /> of the County in 1991, the numbers from the Harney Lane SL and <br /> those from the NCRCSL have been combined.
