II. HARNEY LANE SANITARY LANDFILL A. general Information: This facility is located on Harney Lane, between Tully and Jack Tone Roads, about 9 miles east of the City of Lodi. It is owned and operated as a Class III sanitary landfill by San Joaquin County utilizing Department of Public Works, Solid Waste Division staff. In October of 1991 Harney Lane SL reached capacity and was closed. The NCRCSL, located half a mile to the east on Harney Lane, replaces the Harney Lane SL and will serve the northern part of San Joaquin County. The Harney Lane site was open from 7: 00 a.m. to 5: 00 p.m daily and served the general public as well as the franchised collectors for the City of Lodi, County Refuse Service Area B, and other County Licensed Collectors in the North County Area (Figure 1) . Approximately 2, 024 tons of municipal, commercial, and industrial wastes were delivered weekly to the landfill through September, 1991. B. 1991 Waste Quantities (see also appendices A through Y) : To present a true picture of waste disposal in the north part of the County in 1991, the numbers from the Harney Lane SL and those from the NCRCSL have been combined. Data are also included for each facility separately. The self haul waste was delivered by automobiles, compact pickup trucks, large pickup trucks, vans, trailers, and flat bed trucks. 10
