In order to qualify for the sorted rate, the <br /> waste must be processed to remove recyclable wastes before delivering it to the landfill for <br /> disposal. <br /> B. FOOTHILL SANITARY LANDFILL: <br /> 1. General Information: <br /> This Class III landfill is located on an 880 acre parcel which the County acquired in 1990 <br /> through condemnation. It is located south of State Highway 26, along the east side of <br /> Waverly Road. The landfill is operated by Foothill Inc., under an agreement with the <br /> County. <br /> Hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for the general public. The landfill's primary source <br /> of waste is the Lovelace Transfer Station. <br /> 16 <br />
