7. The estimate of leachate production will be conservative until full liner
development for the Austin Road portion of the site occurs. Peak leachate
generation values are similarly conservative as the peak occurred two years
out of the 12-year total (16.67 percent of the time). It is likely that one of
these peaks will occur during partial liner conditions (i.e., all the liner at
Austin Road site will not be in use, therefore, peak production will not be
realized).
8. Actual precipitation, leachate generation, evaporation, and impoundment
storage conditions will vary.
9. Leachate remaining in the WMU F-North and WMU F-West basins late each
summer should be pumped prior to the next rainy season to reduce the
potential that the impoundment capacity will be exceeded during periods
when storage needs are most critical.
10. The agreement with the City of Stockton Waste Water Treatment Plant to
accept excess leachate as needed will be maintained.
2 BRYAN A.STIRRAT AND ASSOCIATES
L:\Allied\Forward Landfill\FU-03 Basin\Design Rpt-LE\LEACHATE VOLUME 081603.Doc
