The report documents the construction and construction quality assurance (CQA)procedures for <br /> the northeast portion of Class III Waste Management Unit(WMU)FU-04. The report documents <br /> construction and quality assurance activities associated with: construction of a perimeter berm with 60- <br /> mil HDPE Geomembrane,preparation of sub-grade, installation of placement of an 8-oz geotextile, <br /> overlain with a minimum 6-inch thick gravel blanket LCRS, overlain with a second 8-oz geotextile. In <br /> addition, 1-foot protective operations layer was installed over the LCRS. <br /> The report with addendum is complete and Regional Board staff concurs that the northeast portion of <br /> WMU FU-04 has been constructed in general accordance with plans and specifications. Based on the <br /> CQA report, supporting test results and design documents the northeast portion of WMU FU-04 is <br /> approved for waste discharge operations in accordance with the facility's waste discharge <br /> requirements. <br /> If you have any questions,please call me at(916)464-4614. <br /> ROSS D.
