(CASE NO. 2209) <br />We have reviewed the Second Quarter 2004 Water Quality Monitoring Report, Forward Landfill <br />submitted on 30 July 2004. The enclosed Monitoring Report Compliance Checklist summarizes our <br />comments on the report. <br />At the Austin unit, corrective actions for VOC contamination in groundwater were recently upgraded <br />with improvements to the gas extraction system and installation of an infiltration pond for treated <br />groundwater.
