This combination changes the assumptions that <br /> existing financial assurances have been based and the financial assurances need to be revised to reflect <br /> that fact. <br /> Title 27, Section 22220 requires operators of disposal facilities demonstrate the availability of financial <br /> resources to conduct corrective action activities as required under Title 27, Article 1, Subchapter 3, <br /> Chapter 3. Provision H.11. of your WDRs states as follows: The Discharger shall conduct an annual <br /> review of the financial assurances for initiating and completing corrective action and submit a report for <br /> Executive Officer review and approval. <br /> Title 27, Section 22210 requires operators of solid waste landfill to demonstrate the availability of <br /> financial resources to conduct postclosure maintenance activities. Sections 22211 and 22212 outline the <br /> Amount of Required Coverage and Post-Closure Fund Requirements respectively. Provision H.12. of <br /> your WDRs states as follows: The Discharger shall conduct an annual review of the financial assurance <br /> for closure and postclosure maintenance, and submit a report for executive officer review and approval. <br /> A complete review of the new conditions and a recalculation of financial assurances is required. Please <br /> submit a current corrective action cost estimate for review and approval by Regional Board staff that <br /> complies with Title 27, Section 22221 and demonstrations of financial responsibility for corrective <br /> actions and financial assurance for closure and post-closure respectively that comply with Title 27,by 30 <br /> May 2003. <br /> If you have any questions,please call me at(916) 255-3814. <br /> ROSS D.
