They continued placing
granular drainage material on the southeast corner and continued toward the north slope. Prior to placing the
geotextile, the thickness of the drainage rock was physically checked and placed using a GPS system
attached to the low ground pressure dozer. Operations layer was placed in the central and north central floor
of the FU-03 cell. The operations layer material was taken from the on site stockpile.
In the late afternoon, I was informed by the Vector project manager that one area of the west"V"ditch
where it enters the sump contained a grade which was flat and that it would require removing the existing
pipe, rock and geotextile. After removing these components, the liner would be cut open, the clay graded
and checked by the surveyor of record prior to repairing the liner. I informed the liner installer's
superintendent that his presence would be required next week.
One(1)bucket sample of granular drainage material was obtained for sieve analysis and laboratory
constant head permeability.
AWL
pared By: Reviewed By:
4/23/03,Rev. 0 1 of 1
r.-,
