As <br />long as this formulation remains the same the UV resistance of a geotextiles does not chance. Therefore. <br />GSE performs UV testing only once per resin formulation. The testing is performed according to ASTM <br />Test Method D 4355'and results are included on GSE aeotextile specification sheet. Currently, all GSE <br />geotextiles meet or exceed a value of 70% strength retained after 500 hours of UV exposure.. GSE will <br />meet or exceed this value for the referenced project. <br />Although GSE geotextiles are manufactured using one of the best available antioxident packages, we <br />recommend covering the geotextiles within 15 days of exposure to direct Sunlight. This period does not <br />include time during which aeotextiles rolls remain on site covered in black s ---k-wrap. Our <br />recommendation is based on UV performance data published in technical literature indicating geotextile <br />strength can decrease sharply after prolonged exposure to Sunlight. <br />Actual data from an independent laboratory can be supplied upon request. <br />r� <br />Charles L.
