Oct 1,2003 Wednesday General Contractor: Liner Contractor: Project Engineer: Sukut Construction GSE General Foreman: Liner Superintendent: Other: Jim Hasal Lochlin Caffey Allied Source and Description of Fill Material: Weather: CQA Technician: On site native, light brown silty CLAY Warm, clear and Ken Davila wind Equipment on site: 1-D6 dozer, 1-water truck, i-D8 dozer,2-633 scra ers, I- 16G blade NOTES(Describe work completed during the day,any problems and their solutions): Arrived on site for testing and observations at the location listed above. Sukut Construction began placing fill along the access road to the FU-03 refuse cell from the scale house west. The blade cut and shaped the north slope of the refuse cell over the existing refuse. The D6 cut the west slope of the cell with the scraper hauling the cut material to the haul road fill area and to the stockpile. The D8 dozer applied compactive effort along Aftvith the scrapers in the fill area. hree(3)nuclear moisture density tests were performed at random locations and elevations on the native fill. All tests passed specification in density and in moisture content. The on site foreman was verbally informed of the test results. Other on site laboratory testing included calculating the Atterberg limits test values on sample CL-5, which was performed yesterday. The sample passed the required values per specification. Lochlin Caffey(Allied)arrived on site in the mid morning for an on site meeting also attended by Jim H. (Sukut),Butch S. (Forward)and me.
