Based on these calculations (see Table 8) operations at the Forward Landfill could extend to June 2020 4.6.2 FACTORS AFFECTING SITE CAPACITY Many factors can affect the ultimate site capacity of a given landfill:lncludiing variations in waste type; comp.action rates; the use of,alternative dally covers and the annual<tonnage deliveredorto-the landfill: The actual.,dstily tonnage at.the Forward Landfill depends greatly.on the economy. Sjb.ee a good majority of the waste accepted at the Forward.Landfill will be const�ructiQn/demolition type wastes, the inflow will be dependent on how much of that type of work is occurring in the area. The tonnage will also vary as the contracts with clients fluctuate and specialty markets change. Therefore, there may be times when the Forward Landfill will be accepting the maximum permitted tonnage of 7,880 tpd x. and others where it will fall way below. Table 8 is presented to provide a rough estimation of the inflow to the Forward Landfill for permitting purposes.
