The draft CAO was prepared as a result of the continued <br />detection of groundwater pollution downgradient of the former Austin Road Landfill. The draft <br />Cleanup and Abatement Order requires the Discharger to complete the following actions: <br />• Evaluate the extent of the known groundwater plume; <br />• Provide an alternate source of water to owners of impacted wells; <br />• Redesign the remediation system to capture the entire groundwater plume; and <br />• Initiate Corrective Action Measures to cleanup polluted groundwater. <br />In order to conserve resources, paper copies of the referenced document may not accompany <br />this letter.
