intermittently since August 2005, and is well below the National Primary Drinking Water
Standard (2 mg/L).
The fourth quarter 2006 concentration of bicarbonate at AMW-1 (890 mg/L) is comparable to
concentrations observed at that well intermittently since February 2004. The second quarter 2006
concentration of chloride at AMW-3 (92 mg/L) is comparable to concentrations observed at that
well consistently since August 2003. The second quarter 2006 concentration of chloride at
AMW-5 (99 mg/L) is comparable to concentrations observed at that well consistently since July
2001. The chloride concentration at both AMW-3 and AMW-5 is well below the National
Secondary Drinking Water Standard (250 mg/L).
The second quarter 2006 concentration of nitrate at AMW-3 (15 mg/L) is comparable to
concentrations observed at that well consistently since August 2003. The second quarter 2006
concentration of nitrate at AMW-5 (13 mg/L) is comparable to concentrations observed at that
well consistently since July 2001. The concentration of nitrate at both AMW-5 and AMW-10
during the second quarter 2006 is below the concentration observed in background well AMW-2
during the fourth quarter 2006 (37 mg/L).
The field pH value observed at AMW-5 during the fourth quarter 2006 (7.2) is comparable to
values observed at that well since August 1991, and is within the National Secondary Drinking
Water Standard range (6.5 - 8.5). The fourth quarter 2006 field specific conductance value at
AMW-1 (1,190 umhos/cm) is comparable to values observed at that well consistently since
March 2003. The second quarter 2006 field specific conductance value at AMW-3 (1,700
umhos/cm) is the highest value observed at that well since March 1994. The second quarter 2006
field specific conductance value at AMW-5 (770 umhos/cm) is the lowest value observed at that
well since March 2001. The fourth quarter 2006 field specific conductance value at AMW-10
(718 umhos/cm) is comparable to or lower than values observed at that well consistently since
February 2004. The specific conductance values at AMW-5 during the second quarter 2006 and
at AMW-10 during the fourth quarter 2006 are below the value observed at background well
AMW-2 during the fourth quarter 2006 (985 umhos/cm).
The second quarter 2006 concentration of sulfate at AMW-5 (74 mg/L) is comparable to
concentrations observed at that well intermittently since July 2001, and is well below the National
Secondary Drinking Water Standard (250 mg/L). The fourth quarter 2006 concentration of
sulfate at AMW-10 (79 mg/L) is the higher than concentrations previously observed at that well,
but is well below the National Secondary Drinking Water Standard (250 mg/L). The second
quarter 2006 sulfate concentration at AMW-5 and fourth quarter 2006 concentration at AMW-10
are below the fourth quarter 2006 concentration observed in background well AMW-2 (120
mg/L). The second quarter 2006 concentration of total dissolved solids (TDS) at AMW-5 (710
mg/L) is comparable to concentrations observed at that well since July 2001. The total dissolved
solids concentration at AMW-5 during the second quarter 2006 is below the concentration
observed in background well AMW-2 during the fourth quarter 2006 (830 mg/L).
Sen's Slope analysis identified decreasing trends in the following inorganic parameters: arsenic at
AMW-3 and AMW-18, barium at AMW-3 and AMW-4, bicarbonate at AMW4, calcium at
AMW-4 and AMW-11, chloride at AMW-1, AMW-4, and AMW-11, magnesium at AMW-4 and
AMW-11, nitrate at AMW-1, field pH at AMW-1 and AMW-3, sodium at AMW-18, strontium at
AMW-4, field specific conductance at AMW-11, sulfate at AMW-1 and AMW-19, field
temperature at AMW-11, total dissolved solids (TDS) at AMW-11, and field turbidity at AMW-4.
The fourth quarter 2006 field pH value at AMW-1 (7.02) is comparable to values observed at that
well intermittently since June 1994. The fourth quarter 2006 field pH value at AMW-3 (7.2) is
