Construction <br />1. Continued exposing the east edge of the liner in FU -05, using the backhoe, loader and 2 laborers. <br />2. Continued construction of the new temporary berms in the north area of FU -06, using scrapers to <br />deliver and place material from the berm removed from the east side of FU -05.. <br />3. Continued placement for the 5:1 slope above the bench; scrapers place material from the "wedge" <br />stockpile in FU -06; the D6 dozer trims the outside slope and works in the borrow. <br />I. Testing <br />1. Completed pounding Proctor Compaction on sample SGP -1. <br />2. Performed 6 EDT's (Field Density Tests -nuclear method) in compacted Subgrade soils placed on the <br />5:1 slope; tests SG -1 through SG -6 indicate "passing" results similar to previous work here. <br />3. Performed 2 FDT's in compacted fill for the new temporary berms in the north area of FU -06; both <br />tests indicate passing results. <br />III.
