Mr. Robert McClellon ' December 8, 2008 Page 7 WORK PLAN FOR PROBE INSTALLATION ' Installation Criteria One probe, to be designated GP-26,will be installed in native soils at the approximate location shown in Figure 2. Probe construction will be consistent with the requirements of Title 27 §20925(d). Table 2 provides predicted well construction details, subject to change depending on ' actual conditions encountered. A certified State of California(C-57) licensed drilling contractor will be contracted to conduct the drilling and well construction activities. Key considerations for probe installation are as follows: ' ■ New Probe Location Therobe will be installed on landfill P property between probes GP-1 and GP-25, and located so as to provide maximum protection to the adjacent residence from potential LFG migration. The proposed location is shown on Figure 2. The exact location is subject to change,based on conditions encountered in the field. ' ■ Probe Depth Existing waste at the landfill is estimated to be at an elevation of 25 feet msl at the lowest point. The probe will be drilled below this depth or to the approximate permanent seasonal low water table, whichever is higher, as determined in the field ' during well installation. ' Pre-Construction Activities All required well drilling/well installation permits will be obtained prior to the start of well ' drilling activities. The drilling location will be marked in white paint and Underground Service
