Mr. Robert McClellan
December 8, 2008
Page 9
' A health and safety(H&S)plan for the well installation activities will be prepared prior to
beginning the work. The H&S plan will describe potential hazards and will outline site-specific
protection,monitoring and record keeping provisions.
REPORTING
An installation report will be prepared for submittal to FL following completion of the probe
installations. The report will include a summary of all drilling and installation details, and will
include boring logs documenting encountered geologic conditions and all probe construction
details.
CLOSING
With this letter AWI seek approval of the existing LFG permimeter probe monitoring system,
with alternative spacing and the addition of one probe, as described herein. AWI believes the
upgraded perimeter probe monitoring system will provide satisfactory protection of the public
health and safety and the environment from potential adverse impacts due to off-site LFG
migration. Please contact Michael O'Connor at(707) 546-9461 if you have any questions or
required any additional information.
1
' Very truly yours,
Oft
Michael O'Connor Ambrose A.
