1.8.5 Gas Control System This category includes the cost of extension of the wells through the cover and lateral piping system modification during placement of the final cover system. 1.8.6 Site Security This category includes costs for required signage at closure of Stage VI or any lesser portion of the site. The site is currently enclosed with a perimeter fence and gates or has topographic constraints to prevent unauthorized access to the site property. 1.8.7 Demolition This category generally includes costs for dismantling and removal of on-site structures (i.e., fee booths and landfill scales). 1.8.8 Gas Migration Monitoring System This category assumes that all gas migration monitoring probes will be placed during active operations as required under 27 CCR, Sections 20921 through 20939. 1.8.9 Groundwater Monitoring System No costs are associated with this category since additional groundwater monitoring facilities are not proposed for the site at closure. 1.8.10 Enaineering Design This category includes costs for the preparation of construction level engineering design plans and specifications for bid purposes. This cost is assumed to be 1.5 percent of the construction cost. 1.8.11 Construction Management The construction management cost for the FL is based on the closure construction period.
