In
accordance with CCR Title 27, Section 20937(a)(1),methane monitors are installed in all
buildings at the site to protect public health and safety and the environment. During the
fourth quarter 2009,no methane was detected in any of the facilities buildings. A copy of
the landfill gas monitoring probe data is provided in Appendix A.
2.0 FORWARD UNIT
2.1 WATER QUALITY MONITORING
2.1.1 Sampling and Laboratory Analyses
During the fourth quarter 2009, depth-to-water measurements were recorded in the
groundwater monitoring wells on November 16, 2009, and all of the groundwater
monitoring wells were sampled by ATC Associates (ATC) between November 16 and
18, 2009.
