As shown in the table above, significant increasing trends were calculated for one or
more VOC constituents in CAP wells AMW-1, AMW-10, AMW-19, and AMW-19BR,
while one or more decreasing VOC trends were noted in CAP wells AMW-1, AMW-4,
AMW-5/5R, AMW-10, and AMW-11. The increasing trend exhibited for cis-1,2-DCE at
wells AMW-1 and AMW-10, suggests reductive dechlorination is occurring in the
vicinity of these wells.
3.1.6 Domestic Well Monitoring
Two domestic wells (7898-A and 8106-A) were sampled on August 18, 2011. Table 3-3
summarizes the current analytical results for the domestic well samples collected. In the
sample collected from well 7898-A, carbon disulfide, DCDFM, and TCE were measured
at trace concentrations, and PCE was measured above the PQL. In the sample collected
from well 8106-A, 1,1 -DCA and cis-1,2-DCE were measured at trace concentrations, and
DCDFM, PCE, and TCE were measured above their PQLs. None of the measured VOC
concentrations exceeded a state primary drinking water standard.
3.1.7 Surface Water Monitoring
During the third quarter 2011 monitoring period, surface -water monitoring stations
ASW -1 and ASW -2 were sampled on August 18, 2011. Table 3-5 summarizes the
current analytical results of surface water samples collected at the Austin Unit. As shown
