Sample Documentation and Custody Field notes will be recorded on daily field kvInkian reports whichire fled in the project fie. Information to be recorde=d will include ata ' um the project name, Projtct numbC1, date, sample location,weather,and name of sampler. Other information which may be pertinent to the Miect will be recorded,including any deviations from the standard procedures. Each page v M be signed upon completion. An exarnple of a-Field Technician's Daily Report is located in Appendix B. Collected samples will be accompanied by a chain -of-custody record. Each sample will have its own unique sample identification number, sample location, date and time of collection, and appropriate preservative clearly labeled with a ent marker along'with.a sample custody_ seal affixed around the sample battle cap.
