The contractor performed cleaning work, removed liner debris embedded in excavated <br />material along tie-in with excavator and two laborers. <br />• The Contractor continued buttress fill placement using material from cut floor area. The Contractor <br />performed continuous moisture conditioning and sheepsfoot compaction work. <br />. The Contractor performed pot -hole excavations approximately 300 ft to the east of the Cell in order for CQA <br />personnel to obtain samples for soil classification and clay borrow exploration testing. <br />Personnel: (1) Superintendent, (1) Grade Checker, (8) Operators, (3) Laborers. <br />Equipment: (1) 825 Cat Sheepsfoot compactor, (1) 140H Cat Motor -Grader, (2) Water trucks, (1) Cat Excavator, <br />(3) D6 Cat Dozers, (4) 637 Cat Scrapers, (1) Cat Fork-lift. <br />CQA (GLA) Activities: Field Personnel (1) <br />• CQA personnel performed continuous monitoring and lab and field moisture -density testing of the buttress fill <br />placement. <br />• CQA personnel continued monitoring excavation work in the Cell floor; performed visual soil classification <br />with the intent to save any possible suitable clay material encountered. <br />• CQA personnel continued monitoring the clearing work being performed along the North Slope tie-in line <br />exposing the existing synthetic liner. <br />• CQA personnel obtained six (6) clay samples from proposed clay borrow area located approximately 400 ft to <br />• the east of WMU FU13.
