Submitted to: Scott Purdy (GLA) Project #: 2013-AO55 Report No.: 014 Report Date: Wednesday June 05, 2013 Onsite: 06:00 - 16:30 Hrs Weather: AM: 59 OF Clear PM: 91°F Clear Guinn Construction Activities: • The Contractor continued FU13 floor excavation, continued excavation of LCRS trenches on subgrade; the excavated material was transferred to stockpile located south of the Unit. • The Contractor removed drain gravel from existing sump; the material was disposed of in the active area of the landfill. 40• The Contractor continued grading work on the west and north slopes with a motor grader and a D6 Cat dozer. • The Contractor performed grading work on the upper slope, above the 68 contour. The Contractor performed moisture conditioning and compaction work. • The Contractor performed continuous moisture conditioning of haul roads and adjacent areas for dust control. Personnel: (1) Superintendent, (1) Grade Checker, (3) Operators, (2) Laborers. Equipment: (1) 825 Cat Sheepsfoot compactor, (1) 140H Cat Motor -Grader, (2) Water trucks, (1) Cat Excavator, (3) D6 Cat Dozers, (5) 637 Cat Scrapers, (1) Cat Fork-lift. CQA (GLA) Activities: Field Personnel (1) • CQA personnel performed continuous monitoring of all construction activities insuring conformance with the project specifications. • CQA personnel monitored removal of the drainage gravel from the existing sump in the SW corner of the Cell insuring that proper procedures were used to prevent damage to the existing liner. .
