Cloudy Guinn Construction Activities: • The Contractor continued clay placement across the Cell floor. Onsite: 06:00 - 17:30 Hrs PM: 78°F P. Cloudy The Contractor performed moisture conditioning of clay material in the clay borrow using a tractor with disc and two water trucks. • The Contractor performed continuous moisture conditioning and sheepsfoot compaction during clay placement. The Contractor used a D6 Cat dozer and a motor grader equipped with GPS for lift thickness control. • The Contractor continued offloading synthetic liner material on the NE side of FLI-13. • The Contractor performed continuous moisture conditioning of haul roads and adjacent areas for dust control. Personnel: (1) Superintendent, (1) Grade Checker, (10) Operators, (3) Laborers. Equipment: (1) 825 Cat Sheepsfoot compactor, (1) 140H Cat Motor -Grader, (3) Water trucks, (1) Cat Excavator, (3) D6 Cat Dozers, (5) 637 Cat Scrapers, (1) Cat Fork-lift. CQA (GLA) Activities: Field Personnel (2) • CQA personnel performed continuous monitoring of all construction activities insuring conformance with the project specifications. • CQA personnel continuously monitored the placement of clay material insuring proper lift thickness, uniformity of moisture, and compaction during placement. CQA personnel performed field moisture -density testing of the compacted clay material in accordance with the project specifications; obtained in-situ clay samples for lab permeability testing. • CQA personnel monitored and documented the offloading and storage of synthetic liner material being transferred to the site. CQA personnel insured that the handling and storage of the synthetic liner was performed in accordance with the project specifications.
