Cloudy <br />Guinn Construction Activities: <br />• The Contractor continued clay placement across the Cell floor. <br />• The Contractor continued moisture conditioning of clay material in the clay borrow using a tractor with disc <br />and two water trucks. <br />• The Contractor performed continuous moisture conditioning and sheepsfoot compaction during clay <br />• placement. The Contractor continued using a D6 Cat dozer and a motor grader equipped with GPS for lift <br />thickness control. <br />• The Contractor performed continuous moisture conditioning of haul roads and adjacent areas for dust <br />control. <br />Personnel: (1) Superintendent, (1) Grade Checker, (10) Operators, (3) Laborers. <br />Equipment: (1) 825 Cat Sheepsfoot compactor, (1) 140H Cat Motor -Grader, (3) Water trucks, (1) Cat Excavator, <br />(3) D6 Cat Dozers, (5) 637 Cat Scrapers, (1) Cat Fork-lift. <br />CQA (GLA) Activities: Field Personnel (2) <br />• CQA personnel performed continuous monitoring of all construction activities insuring conformance with the <br />project specifications. <br />• CQA personnel continuously monitored the placement of clay material insuring proper lift thickness, <br />uniformity of moisture, and compaction during placement. CQA personnel performed field moisture -density <br />testing of the compacted clay material in accordance with the project specifications; obtained in-situ clay <br />samples for lab permeability testing. <br />is <br />Meetings and Site Discussions: <br />• Met with Kevin Turner (Guinn Superintendent) in the morning to discuss planned activity for the work shift. <br />The Contractor would continue placement of clay across the entire Cell floor. <br />PAGE 1 OF 2 <br />
