The Contractor used two (2) LGP D6 Cat <br />Dozers equipped with GPS to spread the OPS layer in a continuous 12 -inch lift on the slope and 24 -inches <br />thick on the bench. <br />• The OPS material was transferred from the borrow area located SW of the Cell with a 637 Cat scraper and a <br />Cat 740 rock truck. <br />• <br />Personnel: (4) Operators, (1) Supervisor, (1) Grade checker. <br />Equipment: (1) Water truck, (2) 637 Cat Scrapers, (1) D6N Cat Dozer, (1) D6R LGP Cat Dozer, (1) 966 Cat <br />Loader, (1) 14H Cat Motor grader, (1) Cat 740 Rock truck <br />CQA (GLA) Activities: Field Personnel (1) <br />• CQA personnel performed continuous monitoring of all construction activities ensuring conformance with the <br />project specifications. <br />• CQA monitored the placement of the OPS layer at all times ensuring that proper lift thickness was <br />maintained and that care was taken to prevent damage to the underlying synthetic liner. <br />Meetings and Site Discussions: <br />• Met with Kevin (Guinn Superintendent) in the morning to discuss planned activity for the work shift.
