Guinn will provide an
estimate to conduct this work.
1. Comments from previous meeting:
- None.
2. Review of work progress since previous meeting:
- Guinn completed the placement of compacted clay in the LCRS trenches and
sumps.
- Guinn placed the processed clay in the FU -13 floor area and RJA surveyed the
finished clay out from the toe of slope a distance of 50 feet to allow placement of
the liner off of the slope..
- Guinn placed the remainder of the clay on the floor a little bit fat to allow for final
grading and rolling prior to geomembrane placement.
- Guinn is keeping the clay liner moisture conditioned so that desiccation cracks
do not form.
- Comanco filled sandbags in anticipation of liner placement.
- Comanco began placing GCL and HDPE geomembrane on the sideslope.
3. Projected schedule:
- Guinn will continue to moisture condition the clay liner on the cell floor.
- Guinn will be taking the 4th and 5th off and return to the job on the 8th of 'JUly.
Guinn will provide a local contractor who will moisture condition the clay and pump
leachate during this period.
- Comanco will continue to place geomembrane and GCL on the sideslope
through the Holiday Weekend.
- Comanco plans to begin placement of the floor geomembrane around July 17tH
- Comanco plans on completing the floor liner around the first part of August.
Comanco will coordinate with GLA to determine the date for leak location testing.
4.
